Home Community Based Service- Adult Mental Health

Kinship Place is a residential service organization that embraces a multidisciplinary approach to caring for individuals with special challenges. Kinship Place provides HHS regulated services through a Medicaid funded program, Home Community Based Services- AMH (HCBS-AMH). Kinship Place provides a broad array of transitional and residential services to individuals that have experienced tenure in psychiatric institutions, multiple arrest or emergency room visits. We offer a unique approach to connecting individuals with the services and support that they need to meet their individual goals and ultimately thrive in the community. Kinship Place serves as a first line resource, in partnership with Recovery Managers for our clients. We also coordinate with contract service providers that offer specialized services like peer support, employment specialist, registered nurses and counselors. We manage individualized care plans, monitor and evaluate our resident's needs and progress continuously. Independent Living

Kinship Place offers independent living housing solutions for individuals with mental health diagnosis. We provide a clean living environment to individuals that are at high risk for homelessness, We work closely with private psychiatric providers, case managers, MHMR of Tarrant County, and True Mental Health Services. We have professional staff who are understanding and knowledgeable about our resident's unique needs. We offer a welcoming environment without restriction or use of force. Our homes are comprised of private and semi-private rooms. Monthly rent includes utilities, household toiletries, healthcare coordination, etc. We encourage medication compliance, attending each doctor's appointment, and following doctor's orders explicitly.  We offer an extended list of homes to choose from throughout the city. Our homes are nestled and blend into the neighborhood. We promote independence but provide a supportive and nurturing environment. 

 

Veteran Affairs

We love our Veterans that have proudly serviced our country. We understand the housing challenges that Veterans face and provide real solutions. We work hard to provide a beautiful, safe, clean, and loving environment that allow our veteran residents to live comfortably. Our primary goal is safety and our homes are beautiful. We assistance our residents in maneuvering through the VA system and connecting with services. We focus on mental health and psychiatric education.
